Cleveland Pickle Fest

About Cleveland Pickle Fest®

Cleveland Pickle Fest® is a celebration of pickles and volunteerism in Cleveland. Volunteers are a BIG DILL. Proceeds from the event support Greater Cleveland Volunteers programs and services to volunteers and nonprofits in Cuyahoga County.

In the first year, the festival attracted more than 16,000 people to Downtown Cleveland. The event included pickle companies, food trucks, restaurants, pickle items, and pickle beer. Pickle lovers enjoyed many different flavors of pickles, pickles on a stick, pickle pizza, pickle candy, and even pickle ice cream.

Live music plays throughout the event and is a great way to spend a summer Saturday.

This year’s festival will be Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mall B in Downtown Cleveland. This festival is for everyone. Families, children, millennials, older adults, and pickle-lovers alike.

About Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Since 1972 Greater Cleveland Volunteers has been engaging people in volunteer service to help address needs in our community. Our volunteers help at one-time, short-term, or ongoing assignments at local nonprofit organizations. Volunteers tutor and mentor children; provide job coaching to adults; provide food to those in need; comfort patients in hospitals, hospice care; assist visitors at arts and culture organizations, and much more!

Greater Cleveland Volunteers manages the Cuyahoga County chapter of the national RSVP program for adults age 55 and older. Through this program, RSVP volunteers give their time and talents to help address critical needs in the community.

We also manage the Cleveland area affiliate of the national AARP Foundation Experience Corps literacy tutoring program. This program provides volunteer tutors to help young students in the Cleveland and Euclid School districts improve their reading skills.

Through our Chat Pals program, volunteers provide friendship to older adults who live alone.

In addition, we are a partner in the Greater Cleveland Encore initiative to engage people age 50+ in giving back to the community.

Greater Cleveland Volunteers is proud of its history of service and is always looking for new volunteers who want to be a part of making our community a better place.
